Why Ms Whimsy?
‘MsWhimsy’ first appeared as a label for my handmade craft items back in New Zealand. I used to run a monthly market, and also had my own regular table of various art and craft items – I do like to dabble in anything creative, and flit from one thing to another (collecting quantities of “supplies” along the way!).
I love photography – both as memory-keeping of locations and moments in time, but also from an artistic perspective.
Since moving to Cornwall in early 2020, I have had grand intentions of using this page to document my photos, makes, travels, and creative writing. Now, some six years later, I appear to be on the way to setting it up properly and adding content.
I’m setting some time aside each week (hopefully more regularly, but I’m also aware of starting with a bang and running out of steam.
I love tech, but I also love good old-fashioned paper, pens and ink. I’ve recently rediscovered penpalling, and am making new friends around the globe. We trade stories of crafts and travels, so this site will fit in nicely as a way for me to show some of the things I’ve seen or am working on.
