I’m sure that Steve had no idea of the rabbit hole that I would head down when he gave me pens for my birthday last year. I started with two Lamy Safaris, and a lovely little Wren from Tom’s Studio. I now own many many more fountain pens, and quite a number of bottles of ink.
There is a fabulous fountain pen group on Facebook, and I have been admiring the way that folks swatch their ink. With the help of a silicone stamp, a solvent ink pad, and some pre-cut cards, I have now created my own little collection of swatches.
I’m also in the process of recording writing samples from each of the different pens on another set of cards, because… why wouldn’t I? 🙂
